Landscapes 21st Century Grant Programs Summary Chart

This chart reflects funds spent as of January 2007 on Chester County Commissioners' Landscapes 21st Century Programs and initiatives.  This table only reflects the results of funds spent.  More details are available for specific programs as noted below.

Vision Partnership Program

• Tier I Plan Consistency Grants
  This table lists the Tier I grant awards by municipality and includes project type, time frame and County grant amount.
• Tier II Plan Implementation Grants
  This table lists the Tier II grant awards by municipality and includes project type, time frame and County grant amount.

Community Revitalization Program

• Community Revitalization Program Grants
  This table lists the Community Revitalization Program grants awards by municipality and includes project type, County grant amount and the amount of community matching funds.

Farmland Preservation Programs

• Data Chart
  This chart provides information on the farms that have been preserved including their municipal location, tax parcel numbers, acres preserved, purchase price, County share and others share.
• Parcel Map
  This map shows parcels where farmland preservation easements have been acquired by the County through the Commonwealth and Municipal Challenge Programs. 

Municipal Park and Open Space Acquisition and Development Programs

• Data Chart
  This chart provides information on the municipal park grants, including facility name, location, grant type, acres and amount of County funding.  Please contact the municipality directly for detailed information on park location, recreational facilities, hours of operation and facility use.
• Parcel Map
  This map shows parks and open spaces that are owned and managed by municipalities and have been purchased or built using funding from the Chester County Commissioners’ Municipal Grant Program.

Preservation Partnership Program

  This map shows parcels that have been permanently protected using funds from the Chester County Commissioners’ Preservation Partnership Program.

Protected Open Space

• Parcel Map
  This map, produced by the Chester County Planning Commission, shows Protected Open Space as of December 31, 2007. The Chester County Planning Commission defines Protected Open Space as "Land and water areas that have little or no development; are used for recreation or preserving cultural or natural resources, including productive agricultural soils; and are protected either permanently or on a long term basis."
